We offer integrated curriculum at the Primary years to lay strong foundation in English, Math and Science. The curriculum builds on the competence that children acquire in primary school. While the emphasis is on the skills and understanding of concepts, the co-curricular environment enhances in our students the values of teamwork and cooperation at an early age. The programme gives equal significance to the creative side of the children through art education, music and dance. The sports programme in the Primary School provides ample opportunities for children and motivates children to perform better. Our curriculum allows the child to reflect, solve, create, grow and most importantly, think. The core elements of the Curriculum are as follows:

Middle School Curriculum - Classes VI – VIII

Curriculum includes the instructional practices along with the learning experiences of students. The middle school follows a uniform assessment system as per CBSE. In order to infuse a strong education base and prepare students to step into higher classes, the uniform assessment plays an important role. Students are assessed in two terms through pen and paper tests as well as subject enrichment activities.

The curriculum is broadly based on Scholastic and Co – scholastic domain, which provides a platform for students to think intensively and critically, while acquiring knowledge. The aim is to provide in-depth knowledge of all the concepts. An extensive use of technology supplements classroom teaching, thereby making it interactive and thus enhancing comprehension. We have implemented smart class technology as our teaching methodology. Homework given to students is a stimulating revision exercise, generally in the form of worksheets. Activity based learning in all subjects is emphasized.

Holistic development

Educational trips and excursions are organized on a regular basis to make learning fun, interesting and meaningful through exploration and adventure. Creativity is given a lot of emphasis. Students participate in hands on experiments and activities and create working models based on their own visions and ideas. The curriculum is designed to bring out the best and ensure holistic development of a student.

Life skills are essentially those abilities that help promote overall well being and competence in young ones as they face the realities of life. Life skills include psycho-social competencies and interpersonal skills that help these young minds make decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others and learn to manage their lives in a healthy and productive manner. Special sessions are held from time to time where students also learn the value of service and of developing enduring friendships and become more conscious of individual and social responsibilities towards family, community and country.
