On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, Kairos International School hosted a special assembly. A patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as it filled with the excitement of students who were enthusiastically participating.

It’s time to celebrate the freedom of our country and pay tribute to our freedom fighters. There was a special assembly conducted in the morning with pre–primary kids where teachers threw light on the National Symbols and the importance of each colour in the National Flag. The young minds came dressed in the tri colours and a few of them as little freedom fighters Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, Subash Chandra Bose, Barath Mata and etc. PP2 students spoke about freedom fighters and PP1 students performed and sang patriotic songs “Nanna Munna Rahi, We are Indians bold and free.”

The colouring of flag with tri colours inculcated in them the feeling of patriotism and children also learnt to relate these colours with our National Flag. Their creativity was displayed on the soft boards in their classes. Entire Pre-primary wing students, teachers along with the dance sir performed a dance on the Patriotic Tunes of Jai..Ho, Mere Joota Hai Japane followed by National Anthem. The day concluded with face painting and with slogans Bharat Mata ki Jai.
